The picture shows the Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro,
and you can see Sugar Loaf mountain in the distance. It is the
tallest mountain in the picture. People used to buy sugar in loaves
shaped more or less like this mountain and they would just chop off
the amount they needed. This mountain was named for those loaves.
Below you see the great stamps that Daphene put on the envelope.
Brazil has evidently put out a series of stamps depicting various
occupations and we see, here, the carpenter and the shoemaker.
The third stamp is some kind of animal but I haven't been able to make it out!
