Haystack Rock on the Oregon Coast

I received this 'thank you' card from Eugenia,

who lives in Portland, Oregon. Eugenia says that she

spent a large part of her childhood along the coast

of North Carolina, in the Wilmington area. When she moved

to Oregon, she says the rocky shoreline just took

her breath away--and it still does. She likes to spend

time on the beach to 'feel connected to the water.'

I can understand that, Eugenia. The picture of

Haystack Rock takes my breath away too!
