A Little Boat

Isn't this a pretty and unique postcard?

I just love the little boat sailing along in the water

with it's little sail on a tall mast. The sail

looks like it could be made of birch bark.

This beautiful card was sent to me by Marita, who

lives in Iyvaskyla, Finland. The picture reminds

me of carefree summer days, making and sailing

little boats on any available water.

She said it is an old lighthouse in the eastern

part of Finland, and it is called Soderskar.
