Barcelona Cathedral

Jordi, from Barcelona, Spain, sent me this beautiful
picture of the cathedral and cloister in Barcelona.
She said that it is dedicated to Sta. Eulalia, mistress
of Barcelona, who suffered martyrdom during the
Roman epoch. The cloister has a central garden
surrounded by four galleries. One of them contains
the Fountain of St. Jordi. In another one, there are
thirteen white geese who live there!
Thank you, Jordi, for the great postcard, and also
for the stamp which brought it.

This is the stamp that brought
Jordi's card.
