Norbert, who lives in Hoorn, Nederland,
sent me this picture of some beautiful
lighthouses near his home. He says these lighthouses
are as familiar to him as the palm of his hand.
He also tells me that the one marked with an 'x'
(lower left corner) gave him quite an experience.
Inn 1983, a pigeon made a fatal
crash into his back window. The pigeon had been
tagged and it belonged to the keeper of this
lighthouse!
